She passed away at the Woods Park Care Centre Retirement Centre, Barrie ON,

Cremation and Burial by Innisfil Funeral Home

 Phyllis was buried next to Edwin Joseph Beleskey at Barrie Union Cemetry, Canada Grave Stone

My Mom was born on Friday, Sept. 15th 1918 at Toronto General Hospital,

She passed away at the Woods Park Care Centre Retirement Centre, Barrie ON,

  • The Time: "World was at War"

Her Parents: William Palmer and Florence Kent, of Toronto Ontario

Mom's Siblings

  • She had a twin sister Florence Palmer, 2 more sisters *Gladys Palmer and *Edna Palmer now all predeceased.

  • Pearl Coughlin Born July 8th 1922, now lives in Orangeville ON

Mom was a great Artist

  • She was Married May 14th 1940 in Malton ON [ Pictures to follow ]

  • Started a family in Hamilton, ON by the by Lake Ontario [ Pictures to follow here ]

  • Moved to Brampton on Mill Street [ Pictures to follow here ]

  • In 1950 moved to Barrie On  and lived at the corner of Essa Rd and Innifil Street.

  • She spent summers with her family, at Minets Point, on Kempetfelt Bay Click here

  • Edna would often Visit

In addition to her art she enjoyed playing the Organ and her Player Piano

She loved to help others, from volunteering to be a Summer local park Supervisor.
